What makes me,me(:

 

 

           What qualities can make a person who they are??  There are four things that me, myself that I think that are helpful in making a person to become who they are.  The four things that make me who I am today, are very important  my family, my best friend Victoria, My wonderful pet lily and having a little hard work and dedication towards being on a team and doing good at it as well.   

             One of the important things in my life is, my best friend Victoria. She has been there for me through ups and downs and we have each other’s backs. Meeting her almost 6 years ago was the greatest day of my life because I honestly don’t know where I would be without her. I guess fate brought us together; we were just destined to be best friends forever. The thing that I love about relationship, she doesn’t judge me neither do I. We both go to each for advice for anything. You can tell when your going to have a friend for the rest of your life if they through ups and downs with and shed tears with you and share laughs with too.

          Second important thing in my life is my cat, lily. She is one of a kind, I’ve had her since I was in 5^th grade and she has been with my growing up and facing challenges. Oh yeah she’s just  cat, but she is cat that knows when your hurt or knows when your happy. She’ll pace around the house and look out the front just waiting for me to come home cause she knows that’s who I call every day after school, she just brightens my day. I can honestly say living with her all these years she is pretty smart cat. She follows me around every morning just waiting for some attention before I go to school.  She sits by her bowl when she knows their isn’t food and she’s hungry. She can also open any door if it’s slightly closed, stick her little paw in there and she opens it. I’m glad I have one friend that sticks with me no matter what I do in life.  She’s my furry little friend.

            Third most important thing in my life is a little hard work and dedication. I’ve been running cross country, since I was in 5^th grade. Almost 7 years of running competively and on a team.  You have to give yourself a little discipline every now and again. I would always beat myself up if I didn’t get a certain time in practice and I would try again and just try a little bit harder knowing that I can get that time. Practice pays off if you set your mind to achieve great things. My senior year of high school was the best year of cross country for me, even though we had a small team I knew I wanted to achieve something bigger for our team. So I pushed myself every practice and meet. I was almost the second runner on the team because I knew what I wanted. I also knew that it was my last time being on Michigan City High School cross country team. Unfortunately our team was cut short this year, we barely made is to regionals and it was hear break to our team because we worked so hard and didn’t achieve what we set our goals to be.

      Lastly the thing that’s more important to me is my family. We have our good times and we have our bad, at the end of the day were still one big happy family. I love to spend as much time with my family as possible because they put a smile on my face and make many memories. I love going to my grandma’s house to have lunch and just catch up with my cousin’s and my aunts and uncles, and just have a few laughs as a family. Having my family behind me 100% motivates me to do great things.

 

 

ME ME ME!!!

My best friend in the picture above, we have the weirdest friendship that I can't really describe we'll,but I'll tell you how we met very strangely. It was about 7th or 8th grade and my sister,old friend, and I were watching the alley behind my house get paved, we noticed that someone was moving in the next block over. All of a sudden a young girl came over and started talking to us telling us she moved her from Lafayette. We were heading into my yard and she started following us in. From that day on she's the only person I can talk to about anything and she won't judge me, she'll give me advice instead. I can always be myself around her and we just act crazy together, its the weirdest friendship I can say. Best friends can be hard to find but its been 5 almost 6 years and now our friendship is stronger then ever.I can say she is truly my best friend but more importantly she's my sister.

The love for the sport cross country. you can say it can be painful at time but rewarding in the end. my senior year of cross country was the best season for me. I was almost the second runner on our team and was getting personal records (PR) every meet. I see myself determined, from the beginning. You have to work hard everyday and push till you have nothing else to give in practice or in a race. Cross country means you can have fun but when you step up to that line waiting for that gun to go off you have to get a little mad and fight for that top spot,racing to pass that girl in front of you or just getting the best time possible. Punishment, dedication,teamwork are the key words that are all about the sport of cross country.

My wonderful pet,lily. I got her when I was in 5th grade when she as just a little tiny kitten.She has grown with me and became a friend that meows constantly. A lot of people thinks cats are annoying and can be a pain to take care of. There are a few steps to taking caring of a cat but the best step is just loving her everyday. Sometimes she can be a great cuddle buddy when your watching a movie or something. Growing with lily all these years I can honestly say she is very smart for being just a cat. Every morning she'll wake up with me follow me around constantly just meowing for her to be petted. She does tell me when she needs food, she'll meow and sit by her food. She does know when I'm coming home everyday, she will pace around the house and look out the front door until I come through that door after school everyday. She's my best friend with four legs and a tail.

My family is crazy, but I love them. They have who's ever back when needed, no one is left behind. Each families have there fights and there laughs. I can honestly say that my family  never has a dull moment, when it comes to family parties or having lunch for any occasion or anything someone makes the whole family laugh. Thinking of what family really means is relating to Winnie The Pooh, at the end day what ever they face they call there selves a family.They face obstacles just like a normal family and they just figure out everything together and never put anything between them to break their family apart nor anything should. I can say my family is awesome and never would change anything the are everything to me. They will support anyone in anything they do or in anything they believe in. That's what family is all about.

Introducing Myself.

Well, my Name is Lindsay Smith. I just graduated from Michigan City High School. Never blogged in my life, so this is very new to me. I love to shop and give my self a little girl time from time to time again.  I'm a very quite person when it comes to new things, once I get used to everything I open up more.  I work at gap in the light house mall in Michigan city. I have two siamese cats that I love very much but I dont want to end up like an old lady with a ton of cats.
